The legend tells of a pirate invasion on Port Royal. Admiral Mcpherson used some corsairs to defeat them. But there were problems. The captain of the corsairs refused. The admiral decided to give a special ship to the captain if he decided to defeat the pirates. Finally the captain agreed. Once they defeated the pirates the captain lost an eye. Once they were in the port, the admiral refused to give the captain the special ship. So he constructed an indestructible ship made out of obsidian, crystallized goo (the orange pieces) and uranium. His eye was replaced by a fire eye. He returned to Port Royal and left no building standing.
So, every time the Deuda de los Mares is near, you will first see a one-eyed giant like this:
The captain (named Shre-dda, by the way) is the only man that's left from the fleet, except a friend of his and his family who form the ship's crew. Here they are :
